Job summary

T2 Utility Engineers in Norcross, GA is hiring for a Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Field Technician II. You will gain on-the-job training in utility locating and designating, with exposure to Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), vacuum excavation and surveying methods while contributing to project data delivery and site safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years in utility locating or as a SUE Field Tech.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical (U.S. only).
• Ability to obtain DOT medical card for CMV operation (U.S. only).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate heavy tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Work nights and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate SUE locating and designating equipment (pipe/cable locators, GPR, vacuum excavation).
• Complete accurate daily reports and field sketches.
• Use tools for utility investigations (jackhammer, pogo-tamper, concrete saw, compressor, vacuum hose, air lance).
• Drive commercial vehicles (CDL not required).
• Assist with survey and data collection; support crew activities.
• Perform routine maintenance of equipment and vehicles.
