T2 Utility Engineers in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a SUE Manager to lead field operations and ensure accurate utility mapping. This full-time role demands a senior level professional with extensive subsurface utility engineering experience and deep coordination with clients and project teams.

You will manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality, mentor crews, and help prepare proposals while coordinating billing details.

Qualifications

  • Eight (8) years of Subsurface Utility Engineering experience required.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiar with electronic utility locating techniques and equipment.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical.
  • Ability to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Ability to travel to multiple work sites and occasional out-of-town travel.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk two miles.
  • Ability to work outside for over six hours at a time.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates as the main point of contact with Client and Sub-consultant.
  • Coordinates technical requirements with Project Team.
  • Manages and reviews the performance of projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget and quality.
  • Coordinates timely with Project Principal and other division or group leaders.
  • Leads and/or supports the preparation of proposals while coordinating with Branch Manager and other internal/external groups.
  • Coordinates setting up project details with accounting for billing and invoicing.
  • Reviews and provides comments/recommendations to Project Principal before final signatures.
  • Reviews and negotiates contract fees and sub-consultant fees.
  • Monitors and manages project accounts receivable, unbilled labor, billing review reports and provides timely input to Project Principal.
  • Keeps Branch Manager abreast of project status and major issues.
