Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking a field crew member to assist Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) investigations and survey activities in Denver. You will support EM locating, ground-penetrating radar, utility tracing, and data collection in varying weather conditions.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, strong safety focus, and the ability to perform demanding field work while maintaining accurate field notes and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding field work.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) investigations, including EM locating, GPR, utility tracing, marking, and data collection.
• Support Quality Level Investigations (QL-D through QL-A) and verify utility locations per ASCE 38-22.
• Assist with surveying activities, including topographic, construction, and as-built surveys.
• Maintain SUE and survey equipment through cleaning, calibration, and maintenance.
• Prepare and organize field equipment and vehicles for daily operations.
• Record accurate field notes and documentation following procedures and quality standards.
• Perform field tasks such as line clearing, setting monuments, locating utilities, and pounding stakes.
• Adhere to health and safety requirements.
