Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a SUE Technician to perform subsurface utility investigations using GPR, electromagnetic locators, and vacuum excavation.

You will accurately locate underground utilities and prepare field sketches and as-built data. Responsibilities include collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure safe excavation practices, maintaining equipment, and producing reports.

• Ability to read and interpret construction and utility plans.
• Willingness to travel to job sites and pass pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Perform subsurface utility investigations using GPR, electromagnetic locators, and vacuum excavation techniques.
• Accurately locate and identify underground utilities such as gas, electric, water, and telecommunications lines.
• Prepare and interpret field sketches, utility drawings, and as-built data.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field staff to ensure accurate reporting and safe excavation practices.
• Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and industry standards.
• Assist with the preparation of reports, deliverables, and field notes.
• Maintain equipment and vehicles in a clean and functional condition.
