Job summary

CobbFendley in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an experienced SUE Field Technician to join our multi-discipline team. You will locate, designate, and document underground utilities and support field operations in diverse environments.

This role requires travel up to 30%, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to operate survey equipment and large vehicles. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive onboarding program.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of field operations, methods, safety requirements, and environmental considerations for civil infrastructure work in outdoor settings.
• Skills include use of industry-standard tools, equipment, and computer software to perform field tasks and communicate effectively.
• Ability to travel locally, regionally, and interstate, with overnight stays, and work in varying weather and terrain.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned tasks with supervision and follow established procedures.
• Develop foundational technical and field skills.
• Operate vehicles, including large ones with or without trailers, and perform routine maintenance for safe use.
• May cross-train to perform other field services (Survey, Telecommunications, etc.).
• Record accurate field documentation and sketches; support QA/QC processes.
