Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP (WRA) seeks a Subsurface Utility Engineering Field Technician in Baltimore, MD. This full-time role supports our Survey and Utility Designation team, performing field investigations, utility designations, and data sketching to support engineering design.

Responsibilities include interpreting plans, GIS data, operating locating equipment, and coordinating with survey crews.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or state equivalency required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant field experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret Utility Plans, As-Builts and GIS Data.
• Perform Field Investigations for Evidence of Existing Utilities.
• Operate Electromagnetic Locating Equipment.
• Perform Utility Designation for Engineering Design.
• Sketch approximate Designated Utility alignments and data.
• Coordinate with Survey Field Crews for Mapping designation marks.
