Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP is seeking an experienced SUE Field Technician in Baltimore, MD to support the Survey and Utility Designation team. The role involves interpreting plans, performing field investigations for utilities, and operating electromagnetic locating equipment to designate utility lines.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or state equivalency certificate required.
• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Interpret Utility Plans, As-Builts and GIS Data.
• Perform Field Investigations for evidence of Existing Utilities.
• Operate Electromagnetic Locating Equipment.
• Perform Utility Designation for Engineering Design.
• Sketch approximate Designated Utility alignments and related data.
• Coordinate with Survey Field Crews for Mapping of Designation Marks.
