Accura Engineering & Consulting Services, Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking a skilled SUE CAD Technician to join our team. You will process survey data, develop precise SUE CAD plans, and ensure compliance with GDOT standards.

You will collaborate with project managers and field crews, perform QA/QC on CAD drawings, and support PDP/EDG guidelines. A strong background in MicroStation/OpenRoads/Civil 3D and maps interpretation is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of SUE CAD experience.
• Proficiency in MicroStation v8i, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• GDOT project experience preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret maps and geospatial data.

Responsibilities

• Process raw survey data into CAD-compatible formats.
• Develop detailed SUE CAD plans aligned with GDOT PDP and EDG.
• Conduct QA/QC checks on CAD drawings for accuracy and project compliance.
• Follow GDOT SUE Deliverable Checklist for regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with SUE Project Manager to meet timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate with project managers and field crews for updates and issue resolution.
• Assist in improving CAD workflows to enhance efficiency.
