Job summary

Accura is seeking a skilled SUE CAD Technician to join our dynamic team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will process survey data, develop precise SUE CAD plans, and ensure compliance with GDOT standards, collaborating with project managers and field crews.

You will perform QA/QC on CAD drawings, follow the GDOT SUE Deliverable Checklist, and coordinate with the SUE Project Manager to meet project goals, timelines, and deliverables while advancing CAD workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a SUE CAD Technician.
• Proficiency in MicroStation v8i, OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• GDOT project experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret maps and technical drawings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Process raw survey data into CAD-compatible formats.
• Develop precise SUE CAD plans in line with GDOT PDP and EDG.
• QA/QC CAD drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Follow GDOT SUE Deliverable Checklist for regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with SUE Project Manager to meet goals and timelines.
• Coordinate with project managers and field crews for updates.
• Verify utility locations with field crews and resolve data discrepancies.
• Suggest CAD workflow improvements to boost efficiency.
• Support related tasks to meet project needs.
