Job summary

The ideal candidate will process survey data, develop precise SUE CAD plans, and ensure compliance with GDOT standards while collaborating with project managers and field crews. The role requires proficiency in MicroStation, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D, with at least two years of SUE CAD experience and the ability to work independently on CAD workflows and data

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years of SUE CAD experience.
• Proficiency in MicroStation v8i, OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience with GDOT projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process raw survey data from multiple sources into CAD-compatible formats.
• Develop detailed and accurate SUE CAD plans compliant with GDOT PDP and EDG.
• Conduct QA/QC checks on CAD drawings for accuracy and adherence to specs.
• Follow GDOT’s SUE Deliverable Checklist for regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with SUE Project Manager to meet goals and deadlines.
• Coordinate with project managers to provide updates and address issues.
• Work with field crews to verify utility locations and resolve data discrepancies.
• Identify CAD workflow improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency.
• Assist in related tasks to support project goals and client needs.
