Accura is seeking a skilled SUE CAD Technician to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will process survey data, develop precise SUE CAD plans, and ensure GDOT standards are met, collaborating with project managers and field crews.

Proficiency in MicroStation v8i, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D is required, as is the ability to read maps and drawings and to perform QA/QC checks. The role offers professional growth within a supportive environment and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a SUE CAD Technician.
• Proficiency in MicroStation v8i, OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience with GDOT projects is highly preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret maps and technical drawings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Process raw survey data from multiple sources into CAD-compatible formats.
• Develop detailed and accurate SUE CAD plans in alignment with GDOT’s PDP and EDG.
• Conduct QA/QC checks on CAD drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Follow GDOT’s SUE Deliverable Checklist to ensure compliance with regulatory and project standards.
• Work closely with the SUE Project Manager to meet project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with project managers, providing updates and addressing any project-related issues.
• Collaborate with field crews to verify utility locations and resolve discrepancies in data.
• Identify opportunities for improvement within CAD workflows, proposing methods to enhance efficiency.
• Assist in other related tasks as needed to support project goals and client needs.
