Job summary

Accura Engineering in Nashville is seeking a skilled SUE CAD Technician to process survey data and develop precise SUE CAD plans in alignment with GDOT standards. The role requires proficiency in MicroStation, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D, and close collaboration with project managers and field crews.

You will perform QA/QC checks on CAD drawings, follow the GDOT PDP and EDG guidelines, and contribute to continuous CAD workflow improvements while supporting project goals and client needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a SUE CAD Technician.
• Proficiency in MicroStation v8i, OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience with GDOT projects preferred.
• Strong ability to read maps and technical drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Process raw survey data into CAD formats.
• Develop SUE CAD plans aligned with PDP and EDG.
• Perform QA/QC on CAD drawings.
• Follow GDOT SUE Deliverable Checklist.
• Collaborate with SUE Project Manager to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with project managers and field crews.
• Identify CAD workflow improvements.
• Assist with related tasks as needed.
