Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a skilled SUE CAD Technician to join our team. You will process survey data, develop precise SUE CAD plans, and ensure compliance with GDOT standards.

Collaboration with project managers and field crews is essential as you verify utility locations and improve CAD workflows. The role requires proficiency in MicroStation v8i, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D, with GDOT project experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CAD software and drafting practices.
• Ability to read maps and technical drawings accurately.
• Experience with GDOT projects is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process raw survey data into CAD-compatible formats.
• Develop accurate SUE CAD plans in line with PDP/EDG.
• QA/QC CAD drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Follow GDOT SUE Deliverable Checklist.
• Collaborate with Project Manager to meet goals and timelines.
• Coordinate with field crews to verify utility locations.
