Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a skilled SUE CAD Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will process survey data, develop precise SUE CAD plans in line with GDOT PDP/EDG, and perform QA/QC checks on CAD drawings.

Collaborate with project managers and field crews to verify utility locations, address discrepancies, and improve CAD workflows while contributing to project goals and client needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years as a SUE CAD Technician.
• Proficiency in MicroStation v8i, OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• GDOT project experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Process raw survey data into CAD-compatible formats.
• Develop detailed SUE CAD plans aligned with GDOT PDP and EDG.
• Perform QA/QC checks on CAD drawings for accuracy.
• Follow GDOT SUE Deliverable Checklist for compliance.
• Coordinate with SUE Project Manager and field crews; provide updates.
