Job summary

Accura is seeking a skilled SUE CAD Technician to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will process survey data, develop precise SUE CAD plans, and ensure compliance with GDOT standards. Proficiency in multiple CAD tools is required.

You will work closely with project managers and field crews, performing QA/QC checks and driving accurate deliverables within project timelines. GDOT experience is a plus. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of SUE CAD Technician experience.
• Proficiency in MicroStation v8i, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• GDOT project experience preferred.
• Strong ability to read maps and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Process raw survey data into CAD-compatible formats.
• Develop precise SUE CAD plans aligned with GDOT PDP/EDG.
• Perform QA/QC checks on CAD drawings for accuracy.
• Follow GDOT SUE Deliverable Checklist and standards.
• Collaborate with SUE Project Manager to meet goals and timelines.
• Coordinate with project managers and field crews to resolve data discrepancies.
• Identify CAD workflow improvements to increase efficiency.
• Assist with related tasks to support project goals.
