Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled SUE CAD Technician to join our team in Atlanta, GA.

The ideal candidate will process survey data, develop precise SUE CAD plans, and ensure compliance with GDOT standards while collaborating with project managers and field crews. Applicants should have at least 2 years of SUE CAD experience and proficiency in MicroStation v8i, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of SUE CAD experience.
• Proficiency in MicroStation v8i, OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• GDOT project experience is highly preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret maps and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Process raw survey data into CAD-compatible formats.
• Develop detailed SUE CAD plans aligned with GDOT PDP and EDG.
• Conduct QA/QC checks on CAD drawings for accuracy.
• Follow GDOT SUE Deliverable Checklist for compliance.
• Collaborate with Project Manager, field crews, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate with PMs to address project-related issues.
• Identify CAD workflow improvements and efficiencies.
