Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. in Atlanta is seeking a skilled SUE CAD Technician to join our team. You will process survey data and develop precise SUE CAD plans in line with GDOT PDP and EDG, collaborating with project managers and field crews.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of SUE CAD experience and proficiency in MicroStation, OpenRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D. Strong reading of maps and drawings, QA/QC skills, and independent work ability are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a SUE CAD Technician.
• Proficiency in MicroStation v8i, OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience with GDOT projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret maps and technical drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Process raw survey data from multiple sources into CAD-compatible formats.
• Develop detailed and accurate SUE CAD plans in line with GDOT PDP and EDG.
• Conduct QA/QC checks on CAD drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Follow GDOT SUE Deliverable Checklist for regulatory and project standards.
• Collaborate with SUE Project Manager to meet goals and deadlines.
• Coordinate with project managers, providing updates and addressing issues.
• Collaborate with field crews to verify utility locations and resolve data discrepancies.
• Identify opportunities to improve CAD workflows and efficiency.
• Assist in related tasks to support project goals and client needs.
