Job summary

Turning Point of Central California is seeking a SUD Counselor Supervisor to provide clinical and administrative oversight of substance use disorder services within our Male Community Reentry Program. You will supervise staff, ensure program compliance, and support resident recovery and reintegration.

Qualifications

• Must have valid LCSW or MSW; OR BA in Social Sciences with 1 year supervising SUD staff; plus AOD certification.
• Alternate: 4-year Behavioral Sciences degree with 2 years supervising; plus AOD certification.
• Alternate: high school diploma with 6 years supervising; plus AOD certification.
• AOD certification must be in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of SUD and co-occurring conditions; ability to apply evidence-based practices; facilitate groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise SUD counseling staff to ensure quality care and compliance.
• Provide direct SUD services as needed: assessments, treatment planning, individual and group counseling.
• Oversee documentation, ARMS, reporting, and billing.
• Coordinate with CDCR and community partners for continuity of care.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Drive agency business; ensure physical presence on site.
