Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold current licensure/registration with CA BBS or DHCS SUD certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to clients.
• Conduct orientations and education on substance abuse programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation per Champions standards, including progress notes and medical necessity notes.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and external agencies (medical, mental health, probation/parole).
• Perform intake interviews to assess social, emotional, and historical factors.
• Deliver relapse prevention and life skills sessions; adhere to confidentiality requirements.
