Job summary

ABC Traffic Programs is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) Substance Use Disorder Counselor to join our team. The Counselor will conduct educational and group sessions, and may also serve as case manager to assist clients in achieving sobriety.

Qualifications include being a Registered Drug and Alcohol Counselor and/or registered as an Intern upon hiring, with bilingual Spanish/English abilities. Travel between program sites is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified to conduct educational sessions and group sessions.
• Experience or education in helping professions, treatment facilities, and Substance Use Disorder field desirable.
• Travel between locations is essential; candidates must be able to work across multiple sites.
• Case management responsibilities may be required, including client support and referrals.

Responsibilities

• Lead educational and group sessions for clients.
• Maintain client files and write reports on progress and outcomes.
• Provide materials and information to support clients in recovery.
• Coordinate with local organizations for additional assistance.
• Travel frequently between program locations as needed.
