Job summary

Hillcrest Dc seeks a SUD Clinical Manager to lead clinical staff within our behavioral health programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality care. You will oversee treatment planning, clinical documentation, and staff development to support recovery outcomes.

This role emphasizes cross-disciplinary collaboration, confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and staff development with opportunities for impact and growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or PhD in Behavioral Health/Social Services is required.
• Unrestricted/licensed LICSW or LPC in the District of Columbia.
• 3+ years delivering clinical services to ethnically diverse adult populations.
• Trauma-informed, person-centered care experience for individuals and groups with substance use challenges.
• Strong communication skills across levels; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to program staff through clinical supervision, reviews, training, and support to ensure contract compliance and program quality.
• Evaluate team performance using data to drive improvements in quality of care and staff productivity.
• Ensure staff and program goals align with policies, procedures, regulations, and professional standards.
• Manage and review treatment plans and clinical interventions.
• Supervise and countersign team clinical documents in the electronic medical record; approve supervisee documents.
• Audit client records for quality standards and compliance across plans, progress notes, medications, education, and discharge plans.
• Initiate and maintain internal and external agency relationships for referrals and regulatory authorities.
