Goochland Powhatan Community Services is seeking a Full-Time Peer Recovery Specialist to join our team. You will provide case management and advocacy to adolescents and adults living with substance use disorders on our OBAT team, with a focus on opioid use disorders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and/or CSAC-S, 1–2 years of related experience, and a valid Virginia driver’s license. Open until filled; EOE.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services field (Social Work, Counseling or Psychology) and/or CSAC-S; CSAC preferred.
• 1–2 years of case management/care coordination experience with SUD.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license; background check required.

Responsabilidades

• Provides case management for adolescents and adults with substance use disorders.
• Connects clients with services, advocates for access to care, and offers supportive counseling.
• Focuses on individuals with Opioid use disorders on the OBAT team.
• Documents visits and supports within agency and state guidelines.
