Salary:

$70,304 annually

Essential Duties:

Enrollment Growth & Recruitment


  • Support the implementation of recruitment activities to increase enrollment in ASU Local at ASU Local - Chula Vista

  • Assist with outreach and recruitment efforts by coordinating events, information sessions, and communications aligned with established recruitment plans.

  • Work closely with the Manager to execute recruitment initiatives and support enrollment goals for the region.

  • Coordinate with staff to ensure consistent recruitment messaging, practices, and student-facing communications across locations.

  • Support targeted outreach campaigns that promote transfer pathways and bachelor's degree options.

  • Maintain regular communication with students to share updates, resources, and recruitment materials.


Student Coaching & Transfer Pathways


  • Carry a caseload of students and provide direct coaching support related to enrollment, transfer pathways, and degree planning.

  • Work directly with students to help them navigate transfer requirements, timelines, and available ASU Local resources.

  • Support the use of tools such as mypath2asu by assisting students and staff with basic guidance.

  • Coordinate with community college counselors, advisors and advocates to support smooth transfer processes and address student barriers.

  • Provide early, student-facing guidance on transfer credit alignment in collaboration with appropriate teams.


Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement


  • Track enrollment, transfer, and retention data to support ongoing recruitment and student success efforts.

  • Maintain enrollment dashboards and recruitment activity reports aligned with grant reporting and internal reporting requirements

  • Assist with monitoring student progress and flagging trends or challenges impacting retention and persistence.

  • Support data-informed adjustments to outreach, recruitment, and student support activities.


Community Engagement & Advocacy


  • Represent ASU Local at community and recruitment events as assigned, serving as a point of contact for prospective students and partners.

  • Share student feedback and on-the-ground insights to inform recruitment practices and student support strategies.

  • Promote ASU Local's mission of expanding access to higher education through flexible and affordable pathways


Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager & Regional Director to support ASU Local's mission and operational needs.


Desired Qualifications:


  • Experience in data reporting, recruitment, and enrollment

  • Experience in instructing, coaching, or mentoring students

  • Evidence of how you have outperformed benchmarks in the areas of increased persistence, engagement, and goal attainment for young adults.

  • Evidence of having designed learning experiences and curriculum with a specific focus on engaged learning & hands-on programming for small & large groups of students. This may include experiential learning, deeper learning, and place-based learning.

  • Experience with recruiting and/ or enrolling in a higher education setting

  • Experience with student Case Management


Working Environment:


  • Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and manipulating a computer mouse

  • Required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work

  • Occasional bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 25 pounds
