Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG in Palo Alto seeks an experienced engineering leader to manage the Beam Generation & Monitoring (BGM) Subsystem Engineering team. The role oversees architecture, servo-control algorithms, requirements, verification, and lifecycle stewardship for complex radiation therapy products.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, quality, service, and supply chain to ensure robust product development and sustaining engineering.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in a technical discipline (systems engineering, physics, EE, ME, or biomedical).
• At least five years leading engineering teams with cross-functional ownership.
• Eight+ years of engineering experience building complex, regulated systems.
• Experience with medical devices or radiation therapy systems in a regulated environment.
• Familiar with risk management, reliability engineering, and lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team across functions.
• Own BGM subsystem engineering for new and sustaining product work.
• Guide servo/control algorithms, requirements, verification, and validation.
• Coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, service, and supply chain.
• Monitor field reliability and drive data-informed improvements.
