Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking an experienced engineering leader to manage the Subsystem Engineering team within our Beam Generation & Monitoring (BGM) Group. You will oversee architecture, servo-control algorithms, requirements, verification, and lifecycle stewardship for complex radiation therapy products, coordinating across engineering, manufacturing, quality, service, and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in systems engineering, electrical/ mechanical/ biomedical engineering, or related field.
• Minimum five years of people-management and leadership experience.
• At least eight years of engineering experience developing complex technical systems.
• Experience with medical devices or regulated product development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Align priorities, resources, and technical objectives with business and product needs.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Own BGM subsystem engineering across new product development and sustaining engineering.
• Lead development of BGM servo, control, and interlock algorithms and subsystem integration of hardware, firmware, software, and interfaces.
• Ensure subsystem requirements, specifications, testing, and verification are rigorous.
• Coordinate cross-functional liaison with product groups, manufacturing, quality, service, and supply chain.
• Monitor field reliability and drive data-based reliability improvements.
• Represent BGM in cross-functional forums and manage risk assessments and QSR concerns.
