Oxy is seeking an IT Subsurface Data Integration Specialist in Houston to serve as SME and primary contact for subsurface well master data management. You will oversee data integration, quality, and governance across WMDM, aligning with OSDU and AWS cloud initiatives.

You will collaborate with Data Advisors, SOR owners, and vendors to ensure accurate population and ongoing quality of master databases in Landmark R5000, OpenWorks, and Petrel Studio, while supporting modernization efforts and data

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience or related field.
• 10+ years of experience managing oil and gas geoscience, drilling, and engineering technical data.
• Experience loading and managing well data in Landmark R5000, Petrel Studio, or similar subsurface software.

Responsabilidades

• Translate business and subsurface domain requirements into scalable data architectures.
• Lead integration of Petrel, OpenWorks, and Studio with OSDU-compliant platforms.
• Drive data quality monitoring and governance for Well Data Management.
• Coordinate with Data Advisors, SOR owners, and leadership to ensure data corrections and lineage.
• Support cloud alignment and migration initiatives (AWS) and legacy-to-modern platform transition.
