Job summary

Scoot Education is hiring dedicated substitutes and paraprofessionals to support students across classrooms, playgrounds, and cafeterias. You will foster a safe, inclusive learning environment and assist with routines and transitions as directed by the teacher.

Ideal candidates bring a passion for education, a growth mindset, and may hold a teaching credential or 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit. We offer training, weekly pay, and W-2 employment to qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree or college credits.
• Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor
• State & federal background checks

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Encourage student engagement and participation throughout the day
• Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions, following any lesson plans left by the teacher
• Communicate clearly with school staff
• Leave brief notes or feedback for the returning teacher
