TITLE: Substitute Teacher
QUALIFICATIONS: Holds an Iowa teaching certificate, meets the requirements of certification, or holds a Substitute Teaching certificate or a Substitute Authorization certificate issued by the State of Iowa.
REPORTS TO: Building Principal
JOB GOAL: To enable each child to pursue their education as smoothly and completely as possible in the absence of their regular teacher.
Per diem, at rates currently established by the Board.
Medium Work – lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling 20-50 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs. frequently or up to 10 lbs. constantly. Stooping and kneeling occasionally. Reaching, talking, and hearing frequently. Must be able to remain mobile throughout the work day.
