Job summary

Naperville Community Unit School District 203 seeks a Substitute Teacher to cover classrooms in all D203 schools. You will follow lesson plans, maintain student safety, and support a positive learning environment throughout the day.

The position offers a daily rate of $135, plus a $125 bonus for each 10 calendar days worked. On-call and as-needed hours apply, with assignments across district locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois PEL/ELS or Substitute Teacher License.

Substitute Teacher

Naperville CUSD203 is a large, suburban school district with 22 schools and many opportunities to substitute each day. We have high expectations for students and for staff, including our substitute teachers.

Daily Rate= $135, plus $125bonus for each 10 calendar days you work!

Location = all D203 schools

Essential Functions

Other Functions

• May be required to participate in building events such as fire drills, evacuations, assemblies, etc.
• May need to direct activities of a classroom assistant(s)

• May need to sit on the floor for assignments in the Early Childhood and K-2 setting.
• May need to navigate uneven surfaces for some assignments.
• May need to be outside at times.
• May need to work with materials such as paint, clay, glue, crayons, etc. for some assignments.
