St. Charles School District 303 has many substitute opportunities. We set high expectations for our students, staff and teachers.

To work as part of our Substitute Team, you will need one of the following: a Valid and active Illinois Professional Teaching License (PEL), Illinois Substitute Teaching License (SUB) (requires a bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education), or a Paraprofessional License and a bachelor's degree. We do not accept Short Term Substitute Teaching Licenses in D303.

• Daily Substitute Teacher Rate: $145per day
• Loyalty Rate (after 31 days as a District 303 Daily Substitute Teacher): $165 per day
• Long Term Substitute Teacher Rate: $220 per day
• Nurse Substitute Rate: $29.00/hour
• Administrative AssistantPara Substitute Rate: $120 per day

In addition to the online application, a valid Substitute or PEL license, two letters of reference, and a fingerprint-based background check from the Kane County ROE must be provided.
