Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Carmel, IN is seeking a Part-Time, non-exempt substitute teacher who demonstrates biblical knowledge and teaching ability. The role is on-site and requires active church involvement consistent with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities include completing substitute training, delivering LifeWise lessons, maintaining a safe and organized classroom, recording attendance, and communicating with the lead teacher and volunteers.

• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Take attendance and provide records to the teacher.
• Maintain a clean, attractive and well-ordered classroom.
• Know procedures for emergency situations.
• Act as LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community.
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and assign duties.
• Communicate with the teacher.
