Employment is part-time and non-exempt, with training provided to implement LifeWise curriculum and lead classes as needed while maintaining safety and classroom standards.

• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis using the provided curriculum.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom following LifeWise policies.
• Maintain attendance records and report to the teacher.
• Keep a clean, well-ordered classroom and know emergency procedures.
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers and assign duties.
• Act as LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community and communicate with the teacher.

Job Description

• Complete substitute teacher training
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis
  • Implement the lesson plans using the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher
  • Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies and procedures
  • Follow the program's student discipline policy
• Maintain Records
  • Take attendance in each class and provide attendance records to the teacher

  • Know procedures for emergency situations

  • Act as a LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community
  • Communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and assign duties
