The position includes completing substitute teacher training and teaching LifeWise classes as needed, following the provided curriculum and LifeWise policies to maintain a safe and engaging classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Take attendance in each class and provide records to the teacher.
• Maintain a clean, attractive and well-ordered classroom.
• Know procedures for emergency situations.
• Act as a LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community.
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and with the teacher.
