LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time substitute teacher in Indiana to support LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis. The role involves delivering LifeWise lessons, maintaining a safe learning environment, and following curriculum and discipline policies.

The candidate should demonstrate a mature Christian faith, active church involvement, and strong communication with students and staff. Training will be provided to ensure effective classroom support.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement the lesson plans using LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom following LifeWise policies.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Maintain attendance records and provide to the teacher.
• Maintain a clean, attractive and well-ordered classroom; know emergency procedures.
• Act as a LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community; communicate plans with volunteers and the teacher.

LifeWise substitute teachers will demonstrate excellence in Biblical knowledge and teaching abilities. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is caring, perceptive and proficient in teaching students.

Job Description

• Complete substitute teacher training
