Job summary

Sheraton New York Times Square is seeking a Security Guard to patrol hotel premises, enforce rules, and help maintain a secure environment for guests and staff. Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders regularly.
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods.

• Make conclusions based on facts and personal judgment.

• Investigate disturbances, complaints, thefts, vandalism, etc.
• Detect fires or unsafe conditions
• Evaluate safety equipment and report any damages
• Warn or evict troublemakers as needed
• Obtain assistance for accident victims and file accident reports
• Notify team members and management of suspicious behaviors
• Assist management and enforcement officers in emergency situations
• Enter and check rooms of guests suspected of leaving without paying bill to confirm suspicions and to seize any remaining personal property
• Other duties as assigned
