Job summary

MCR is seeking a Security Guard for the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel in New York City. You will patrol hotel premises, maintain order, enforce rules and regulations, and ensure observance of applicable laws.

Responsibilities include patrolling lobbies and public spaces, investigating disturbances, detecting fires, and assisting management during emergencies. A high school diploma is required and security experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous security experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in varying environments (cold, rain, snow, heat).

Responsibilities

• Patrol lobbies, corridors, and public spaces to deter incidents.
• Investigate disturbances, complaints, thefts, vandalism, etc.
• Detect fires or unsafe conditions and alert management.
• Evaluate safety equipment and report damages.
• Warn or evict troublemakers as needed.
• Assist in emergencies and obtain assistance as required.
• Record incidents and suspicious activity for review.
