Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Willingness to work with children with handicapping conditions.
• Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.

Responsibilities

• Assist children across streets and highways.
• Load and unload children from school buses and other vehicles.
• Maintain order on the school bus or other school vehicles.
• Secures the children with safety belts in their seats.
• Informs children about safety regulations and practices.
• Knowledge of the practices and procedures of assisting students with handicapping conditions on and off the school bus.
• Knowledge of safety practices and precautions when assisting students with handicapping conditions and preschoolers across highways and streets.
