Child Care Worker/SACC

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED

Reports To: The School Age Child Care Site Director And School Age Child Care District Director

Job Duties/ Responsibilities:

• 1. Supervises children
• 2. Serves snacks and cleanup.
• 3. Plans various activities, i.e., P.E., Music, Arts/Crafts, etc.
• 4. Assists in homework and coordinate Homework with classroom teachers.
• 5. Monitors “pick-up” of children.
• 6. Attends professional development activities and other school functions as requested.
• 7. Keeps abreast of recommended strategies on child management.
• 8. Completes daily attendance for assigned group of children.
• 9. Sets up physical facility necessary to meet licensure requirement, including setting up and taking down the center-tables, chairs, individual/center equipment.
• 10. Performs related duties as assigned by the site director.
• 11. Monitors all Children
• 12. Interacts positively with students in the school district’s day care
