Batesville Community School Corp is seeking a Substitute School Nurse to provide temporary healthcare services in the district. The role covers days when the regular nurse is absent, addressing medical needs, emergencies, and health promotion for students and staff.

You will collaborate with the Director of Health and Wellness, document care for the primary nurse, and receive training. RN or LPN license in Indiana and CPR/First Aid certification are required.

A Substitute School Nurse provides temporary healthcare services and support in a school setting during the absence of the regular school nurse. They ensure the health, safety, and well-being of students and staff by addressing medical needs, responding to emergencies, and promoting a healthy school environment. They will leave proper communication for the primary nurse in this role to follow-up on. This nurse will fill in for all nursing roles in the corporation as needed. This person will collaborate with the Director of Health and Wellness. Training and orientation will be provided.
