Batesville Community School Corporation is seeking a Substitute School Nurse to provide temporary healthcare services in our schools during the absence of the regular nurse. You will respond to medical needs and emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of students and staff.

You will leave notes for the primary nurse to follow up and will collaborate with the Director of Health and Wellness. Training and orientation will be provided to support a smooth transition.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license (RN or LPN) in Indiana.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

A Substitute School Nurse provides temporary healthcare services and support in a school setting during the absence of the regular school nurse. They ensure the health, safety, and well-being of students and staff by addressing medical needs, responding to emergencies, and promoting a healthy school environment. They will leave proper communication for the primary nurse in this role to follow-up on. This nurse will fill in for all nursing roles in the corporation as needed. This person will collaborate with the Director of Health and Wellness. Training and orientation will be provided.

Qualifications:
