Substitutes: RN or LPN

Location: Newton Community School District

Substitute Nurse Rate of Pay: $20/hour

We use an online system where you can pick the jobs to match your availability.

Applicants must be a licensed RN or LPN.

The following items should be included with your completed application.

• Copy of Iowa Board of Nursing License
• Copy of Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Certificate

• The Human Resources Office will receive notification that the application has been submitted.
• HR will send the DCI Background check form to the applicant.
• Upon approval from DCI, applicant will receive information about the substitute onboarding process.

Position Information: Substitute employees will be notified of available substitute assignments on an as-needed basis to fill in for absent staff. Hours and the frequency of assignments will vary depending on district staffing needs, employee absences, and the substitute's availability.
