Job Description

North Reading Public Schools is seeking School Nurse Substitutes to support as needed in the PreK - 12th grade.The successful candidate will work with the substitute assignment system known as Frontline (formerly Aesop) to accept open assignments as needed at one of the five schools in the the North Reading School District (three elementary schools, one Middle School, and one High School).

Responsibilities

  • Assess, treat, and triage acute illness and injury
  • Manage students' health issues
  • Administer medication
  • Communicate with parents, faculty, and health care providers

Requirements

  • Massachusetts RN Licensure
  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • Strong communication skills
