Job summary

North Reading Middle School is seeking a building-based substitute to support student learning four days per week. The role reports to the assigned school and begins immediately. This temporary, part-time position offers no additional benefits at this time.

The successful candidate will work with students and staff, following provided lesson plans and offering classroom support as needed. Citizenship, residency or work visa is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or two years of college education preferred.
• Licensure with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) preferred.
• Work with youth, teaching, and/or in an education setting preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

North Reading Middle School is seeking interested applicants to serve as a building based substitute. North Reading Public Schoolsis actively looking to build a diverse workforce to ensure all students feel welcome, safe, and valued for who they are and supported to reach their potential.
