Job summary

A regional education cooperative is seeking a Substitute Licensed School Nurse to work as needed across all school buildings. Responsibilities include performing skilled nursing procedures, monitoring delegated tasks, and providing health-related advice to educational staff. Candidates must have a valid RN license from Minnesota, current CPR and First Aid certifications, and strong communication skills. The position will be compensated at $27.75 per hour, without insurance benefits, and is ongoing for the 2025/2026 school year.

SUBSTITUTE - Licensed School Nurse

Work across all school buildings on an on-call and as needed basis.

Responsibilities:

• Perform skilled nursing procedures, and delegate nursing care procedures when appropriate.
• Monitoring and supervision of delegation using clear written plans for delegates to follow.
• Interpret health findings for educational staff regarding impact of health concerns on learning and accommodations required at school - as needed.

Qualifications:

• License as a Registered Nurse from Minnesota Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification for the Healthcare Professional and current First Aid certification.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and problem-solve.
