Job summary

Eden Autism Services in New Jersey is hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate care in our group homes and day programs. You will support adults with autism, assist with daily living skills, and help participants engage in community activities.

Paid training is provided, including ABA, PCM, CPR, and more. Flexibility is available with a variety of shifts: weekends, weekdays, overnights, and 3‑on/3‑off rotations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 19 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with good standing.
• PCM certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of individuals at all times.
• Teach basic life skills (cooking, laundry, hygiene).
• Support employment skills and community activities.
• Assist with daily activities and transportation.
• Document progress and communicate with families and staff.

Eden Autism Services is now hiring Full-Time, and Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide support to adults in our group homes and day programs.Experience working with individuals with autism or other disabilities is an advantage, but it’s not a requirement! We provide paid training and you will be working with others as a team. Eden offers a variety of schedules—our employees find this flexibility perfect for their busy lives!There will be 2 weeks of PAID TRAINING 8:00 am – 4:00 pm for the positions working in Adult Services. The Training covers many topics such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methods of teaching, Professional Crisis Management (PCM), CPR, and much more!! The Training is mandatory before you can start working in Program.Our day centers are located in Hamilton, Plainsboro, and West Windsor.The Day Program schedule is Monday-Friday 8am – 4pm.Our group homes and supervised apartments are located in Mercer and Middlesex Counties.Our Residential Program offers a variety of Full-Time and Part-Time schedules including Weekend Day, Awake Overnights; “3-day-on / 3-day-off” rotating schedules, and more! Hours will be discussed.As a DSP for Eden, your primary responsibilities will include:Ensuring the safety of those we support at all times.Teaching individuals we support basic life skills, such as cooking, laundry and cleaning, and personal hygiene.
