East Aurora Union Free School District is seeking a Substitute Laborer to join the district-wide facilities team in East Aurora, NY. The role requires basic custodial work, floor care, snow removal, and general cleaning across school facilities.

Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED and be capable of teamwork in a busy school environment. The current contract rate is $18.00 per hour with immediate starting availability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• General knowledge of cleaning procedures required.
• Familiarity with power tools preferred.

Responsabilités

• Machine and manual floor scrubbing, carpeting, waxing, buffing.
• Snow shoveling, mowing, edging, lawn care, and field upkeep.
• Mopping and cleaning in cafeteria, kitchen, locker rooms, and restrooms.
• General cleaning: sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, glass cleaning, wall washing.
• Stock handling and light bulb replacement; assist custodians as needed.
• Collaborate in a team environment to meet safety and cleanliness standards.
