Job summary

Lewiston Public Schools is seeking a dedicated custodial worker to help keep district buildings in operating condition. You will perform seasonal grounds work, clean spaces, restock supplies, and assist staff and visitors with directions and equipment setup.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and custodial experience is preferred. Candidates must be able to lift up to 90 pounds, work indoors and outdoors, and follow district policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs seasonal grounds work (snow, lawns).
• Cleans and preserves designated spaces, equipment, etc in the building.
• Restocks disposable items and provides supervisor with inventory usage and data.
• Assists visiting public utilizing the facilities with directions within building and in obtaining and setting up needed equipment.
• Maintains building and grounds security in the building.
