Franklin County Public Schools is seeking a Substitute Cook to maintain cleanliness in the School Nutrition Program facilities and assist in food preparation and service. This entry-level role requires a high school diploma or GED and one year of food service experience. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of food safety and the ability to work closely with team members. Training for certification is also required.
Position Title: Cook (School Nutrition Program)
Responsible To: School Nutrition Program Manager, School Nutrition Program Director, Principal
Basic Function: The Cook is responsible for maintaining School Nutrition Program facilities and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition.
Salary and work year to be established by the board of education.
Performance will be evaluated according to board policy for classified personnel.
