Job summary

Right At School is seeking a Substitute Educator in Washington (Ridgefield). The role supports before and after school programs with a pay range of $18–$20 per hour, depending on education and experience.

The schedule includes a before-school shift, an after-school shift, and occasional split shifts, with actual hours based on program needs. The ideal candidate brings customer service excellence, teamwork, and at least 1 year working with children under 13, along with CPR/FA and background

Qualifications

• Proof of High school diploma or GED.
• FA/CPR and Mandated Reporter requirements.
• TB clearance, MMR proof and Food Handlers Card.

Responsibilities

• Organize program materials for lessons and activities.
• Deliver dynamic daily curriculum to engage children.
• Model positive guidance and maintain safety and well-being of all children.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff and school personnel.
• Support homework completion and lead age-appropriate activities.
• Meet with Program Manager for progress and accountability.
