Job summary

West Ohio Community Action Partnership (WOCAP) seeks qualified substitutes for an on-call position across multiple sites. You will assist teachers, support children's learning, and help with self-help skills during the school day.

The role requires flexibility to substitute at different sites within operating hours. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED; CPR/First-Aid are a plus, and a valid Ohio driver's license may be required. This is a part-time, on-call role with varying hours.

WOCAP, a local non-profit organization, is seeking qualified candidates for Substitutes. This position is an on-call basis only, with varying hours.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Teacher in the learning environment, including assisting children with self-help skills.
• Actively participate with and supervise the children at all times.
• Must be willing and able to substitute at different sites during the hours of operation as needed.

Requirements

• MUST be able to pass drug screen and background check.
• High School diploma or GED. Valid CDA a plus.
• Certification in Child Abuse & Neglect, Communicable Diseases, CPR, & First-Aid a plus.
• Valid Ohio driver's license, current vehicle insurance, and privately-owned vehicle during working hour required. Ability to check electronic mail, entering data into program-specific software for required reports, and Internet skills required.
